The goal of the programme is to increase the diversity of attendees and offer support to groups underrepresented in the tech community who would not otherwise be able to attend the conference. The Diversity & Inclusion Programme focuses primarily on empowering women, ethnic minorities or people with disabilities, among others, but everybody is welcome to apply. - @CodeSync

Question: Any forecast of the opportunity for all those white males being laid off recently not having the funds to attend and getting in social isolation?
Context: I’ve talked to a bunch of them recently. Can name at least 4 individual community members I stumbled upon last month alone, so it’s not a hypothetical case but a wide spread problem) and don’t get the idea they get special funds/treatment anywhere. I doubt they will even try to apply due to the idea they have zero-chance.
Would be nice to hear and see they have equal chances.
