Job title: Junior/Mid/Senior Backend Developer
Job description:

Salary range: Depending on experience
Position on remote work: Fully Remote

Qualifications or experience required:
The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Elixir/Phoenix
  • Inclination to develop DRY code, with high maintainability and readability
  • Ability to write tests (Minitest / ExUnit)
  • Ability to develop REST APIs and their documentation
  • Very good mastery of DBMS and SQL (PostgreSQL in particular)
  • Excellent knowledge of versioning control systems (GIT)
  • Ability to work in distributed teams
  • Good knowledge of the English language

What the successful job applicant will be working on:

The candidate will mainly develop and maintain (older) Ruby on Rails and (new) Elixir/Phoenix applications.

About the interview process

  • quick introductory call with CTO
  • tech interview with me, this will take ~2 hours, technical discussion and live coding on realistic programming tasks (no whiteboard tricks)
