yep, that’s the one! I remember the eye popping result that sha256 was better than md5 on modern amd and aarch but not on intel, haha.
It is due to the fact that Ryzen added new CPU instructions dedicated for computation of SHA-2. Intel supports only SHA-1 instructions.
