the writes are RPC it would be possible to create one but given the price/performance you would need some very unique requirements to make this work. To put this into context a PG HA cluster that supported 200K TPS would cost you 60K + 2k /month a spanners setup that did 200K tps would cost you 120K/ month for nodes alone + storage and transfer fees.
