Besides, I don’t see much reason to use http/2 for anything other than static assets, and for that there are nginx, h2o, and cdns.

That got me curious… Why wouldn’t you use http2? Perhaps this might hijack this thread though…

Because from my layman’s point of view I don’t see any advantages in http/2 (other than faster serving of static files) worth switching for.
