Lonestar ElixirConf is bringing Elixir goodness to
Austin, Texas, with a Texas flair.

February 10-11, Lonestar ElixirConf is hosting
a two-day conference, with all the tasty goodness
you have come to expect from Lonestar conferences.

The conference consists of two days of
Elixir talks, keynotes and lightning talks,
plus some mighty fine food with good friends.

Keynote Speakers

Lonestar ElixirConf will be keynoted by the creators
of Phoenix and Nerves. You won’t want to miss

The closest one to me that I’ve seen yet, but still a 10 hour drive! Tempted though, never been to a conference due to my location in the desert away from everything. ^.^

Not gonna lie, wish airfare and hotel were provided for speakers but this looks like it’ll be great. Maybe I can make it.

Austin is one place we were tempted to move, still am, but what a paradigm shift it would be from living in the desert. ^.^

You should definitely go for it! You could give a talk on Bucklescript as a front end with a json api back end! :wink:

(I absolutely would if I could, since it’s only a 1.5 hour drive, but travel just aint an option right now! :slight_frown:)

Albuquerque is the closest Giant city/metropolis from where I live (5 hours), Austin is second (10 hours), still tempting, if it were in Albq. then I’d be there for sure. :slight_smile:

Heh, bucklescript is still mostly just a language transpiler, so unless if I talked about my elm’ish library then a framework is not quite there yet. ^.^
