Sending various types of media files through phoenix channels

I was trying to learn phoenix channels through a chat app. I was wondering how to send media files like image, video, audio, ppt, pdfs, other files etc through channels and broadcast it to every person subscribed to the channel.

Hi @pgarg. Generally speaking, media like that would be stored on something like AWS S3 or google cloud storage, and then what you broadcast are links to those files. Websockets are not a great transport mechanism for large or even medium sized files.
