What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years full-time development experience
- Highly proficient (at least 1 full year) in Elixir/Phoenix (and possibly Erlang as well)
- Experience with Test-Driven Development
- Experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent
- Experience with Node for AWS Lambda, or other serverless architecture
- Familiarity with Rails is necessary as we migrate our platform from Rails to Elixir
- Familiarity with front-end development requirements to effectively communicate with front-end developers
- Basic knowledge in distributed systems, serverless concepts, version control, CLI, etc.
- Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Bonus: We have several utilities written in Python & PHP. Experience with either of these languages is a plus
- Double Bonus: If you’ve got data-crunching skills, we’ll put ‘em to use
- Mega Bonus: Loves podcasts, and has the drive to innovate the industry
Location
While this is a remote position for the right candidate in the USA, bonus points if you’re located near our CTO in Troy, NY, or in New York’s Hudson Valley.
