We’re a startup founded around the question: “What if insurance was easy?”. All companies have insurances, but studies (and our data) show that the vast majority are incorrectly covered. As a result, businesses often pay too much, are undercovered and exposed to risk, or both. We solve this by continuously monitoring the companies’ own data, allowing us to proactively ensure that they
are always correctly insured.
We started as a bootstrapped company two years ago and now serve over 500 customers. We’ve been using Elixir with Phoenix and LiveView since the beginning, and it has been a major force multiplier for our small team.

Job title: Senior Elixir Engineer
Job description:
You’ll work closely with me (CTO) and our team of Elixir developers to expand and improve our online platform. Your responsibilities will include:
- Architecting, designing, and implementing new features to automate insurance handling for SMBs.
- Contributing to the expansion of our engineering team.
- Mentoring other engineers.
Salary range: €90,000 - €100,000 per year + equity
Qualifications or experience required:
- Significant experience building and scaling Elixir applications
- Experience building robust API integrations
- Experience building web applications with Phoenix and LiveView
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, ideally using Ecto
- Experience implementing auditing and logging mechanisms.
- A strong commitment to testing (unit, integration, etc.) using tools like ExUnit.
What the successful job applicant will be working on:
You will play a key role in shaping the core platform of a well-funded,
ambitious startup. Your work will include:
- Architecting and building new product offerings within our platform
- Integrating with more external APIs to expand our data sources and capabilities.
- Enhancing current products through improved automation.
- Preparing our platform for international expansion
- Helping drive architectural and design decisions across the platform

Any other notes about your position on remote work: We offer a flexible workplace allowing occasional work from home. However, we highly value in-person collaboration. Therefore, this role requires working primarily from our office in Copenhagen.
About the interview process
Our interview process is conversational rather than strictly formatted. You’ll chat with me, our co-founders, and the development team. At some stage, we’ll ask you to share some code you’re proud of for discussion, and we might look at some of our code together to discuss potential improvements or approaches.

While our current product interface is primarily in Danish (for now!), our development team is international. Danish language skills are not required, but fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
