Sooo basically you want to hire Elixir talent to remove the Elixir from your stack and therefore make themselves irrelevant? Why not just hire Python and Go people to rewrite the thing in those languages? I would also have concerns about the ethical questions that @felix-starman raises. And finally, there are a huge number of out of work Elixir developers (soon to include myself). I’ve been a software developer for 21 years and never needed to be a domain expert for any of my jobs. Just being a good programmer and problem solver was enough. I would suggest if you haven’t been able to find Elixir developers then there is something wrong with your interview process. I don’t mean any of this derogatorily. I wish you the best of luck in your start up hopes and aspriations. Unless of course your goal is to deprive people of the care they need while enriching yourself. Then I wish you nothing but misery. Cheers!
