Tasks & responsibilities:
- Shaping the Software Architecture of the Lemonbeat IoT backend and cloud service implementations
- Evaluation of potential technology options and mapping with business requirements
- Providing guidance for implementation in terms of specifications and technology coaching
- Mentoring the development team in the implementation process
- Responsible for software architecture decisions in the product design/redesign process
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or comparable experience
- Several years of experience as a software developer, ideally as an architect, covering different technologies, architecture patterns, and programming languages
- Erlang/Elixir competence is a big plus
- Prior experience in IoT and/or cloud services is a plus
- This is an on-site position located in Dortmund, Germany (remote work is not an option)
- Independent, dependable, goal oriented team player
- Strong communicator (in German and English)
