Your team
As the BAT team, we ensure that our colleagues can focus on what truly matters, without being distracted by cumbersome processes. We don’t just make work easier—we often make it unnecessary through smart automation.
“We automate processes so well that people forget they were ever a problem. Our team collaborates smoothly and always keeps the long-term in mind.” – Marco
We are increasingly working together with teams from Nedap’s four key markets: Healthcare, Livestock, Security, and Retail. We value a critical mindset and encourage each other to come up with the best solutions—not just for today, but also for the future.
“Every sprint, we improve a little as a team, and that’s contagious. The best part is brainstorming innovative solutions together that truly make an impact.” – Mike
We work in a hybrid way. Remote work is possible, but we prefer that you come to the office one day a week to discuss ideas and maintain close collaboration. Other options are, of course, open for discussion, and we’re happy to find the right balance together.
Do you want to do more than just write code as a backend developer and truly contribute to smarter ways of working? In the Business Automation Tooling (BAT) team, we develop automations that eliminate repetitive tasks and streamline processes. We create solutions for onboarding, billing, integrations, and more, while making existing systems smarter and more scalable. With our sustainable solutions, we give colleagues control over processes, enabling them to maximize their impact.
“In the BAT team, we don’t just build systems—we make work genuinely smarter. The best part? Turning complex processes into elegant, maintainable automations.” –Dominik
As BAT’er at Nedap Healthcare, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for onboarding, billing, integrations, and offboarding. You will analyze complex challenges, map out existing (legacy) systems, and translate them into scalable automation solutions. Together with your team, you will develop solutions primarily focused on Healthcare, but also applicable to other market segments within Nedap. This role requires an analytical mindset and a willingness to occasionally work with tools outside the team’s standard stack.
For this position, it is important that you have an interest in identifying, abstracting, and solving problems. Experience with process automation and system integrations is a plus. Affinity with the healthcare sector is not required but would be an advantage.
