A thermostat would be cool. One that adjusts based on temperature, inside and outside.

I think it depends on the price of those displays. If bigger HD displays get cheaper (or are they already?) due to economies of scale, then most industries will switch to that.

One pending project I have is to build a control station for turtle’s pond. This control station should monitor a minimum set of features to test the quality of the environment (the pond!), such as water temperature, outside-water temperature and humidity. Of course, there are a lot of other possible interesting features, like a remote camera connection to see the turtles in the pond, because some turtles are shy and you can’t look at them very near, so it could be useful to check their behavior and health.
If I find time to work on this project, I will share with you!
