<p>I think that wasn’t your point, but you do not really describe how these features, that you state that are needed for webdev, are handled in Elixir/Erlang. It would be worth expanding a little.</p>

<p>I wrote this post because we hit a snag at work with Exq writes getting backed up and eventually timing out. The root cause was due to the single <code>Enqueuer</code> process that is used to write jobs into Redis. Luckily, it’s super easy to pool this process and dramatically increase throughput capacity.</p>
