This is still happening on Brave for some reason. Windows 11, Brave 1.75
To fix, close the existing tab you’ve been working on and start a fresh tab. Very strange.

I can report that this is happening in Dia browser as well (seems to be all Chromium-based privacy browsers)?
Basically, I resolved this by first detecting whether the browser is a “privacy browser”, and if so, implemented a more aggressive reconnection strategy, which seemed to resolve the issue, but this does seem to be a persistent issue.
I can share snippets of code if there’s interest.
Though, it looks like this was resolved in Brave just a few months ago?
