Bringing this thread back to life.
I’ve used MIT for everything built in Elixir. Most of the work that has seen use by the Elixir community is libraries/adapters for which there is little concern about patent trolls that might arise from using MIT.
However, as I am trying to build a cohesive ecosystem possibly with novel functionality, is there any concern that using MIT will leave me exposed to liability/trolls? Should I consider switching to Apache 2.0? I’d like to keep a permissive license to promote adoption, so MIT seemed like the right choice initially.
