Job description:
We’re backed by fintech veterans. We’ve got the commercial roadmap.
Now we need you—a deeply technical CTO with startup guts and payments pedigree—to build and scale our core platform.
Salary range: Founding level equity “10-15%” and no salary until we raise our seed funding , once done a competitive salary will be paid
Qualifications or experience required:
We prefer people with fintech or payment systems domain knowledge “+5 years”
but anyone with complex distributed online transaction processing system experience is welcomed too
What the successful job applicant will be working on:
• Build and evolve our MVP across mobile/web frontend, backend, and partner APIs
• Architect our AWS-native stack (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront, SES, S3)
• Take the lead in designing the architecture of our API-first payment orchestrator platform.
• Lead integration of Visa/Mastercard APIs (e.g., OCT/PUSH/PULL, FX Rate APIs)
• Design and implement robust KYC/alias systems (leveraging tools like SumSub)
• Develop a dynamic fee engine with multi-currency support and real-time FX data
• Stand up secure, compliant, scalable infrastructure for high-volume transaction flows
• Lead hiring of future tech team and contractors
• Own and defend the product in investor due diligence
Remote job: Fully remote at the start and negotiable later
Remote restrictions: We have a preference for GMT+5 to GMT-4 timezones
