Yes, this is what I’m talking about. There may be situations where it doesn’t matter but, for example, you can see it break change tracking if you assign a random id to a live component used to render each item of a list:

EDIT: I also notice there are extra round trips made whenever using random ids, outside of a list or wherever, I’m not exactly sure what they are about.
