Aurora UIX 0.1.6 is out. This release is about making the generated UIs feel alive and easier to work with day to day.
The headline additions are click-to-sort column headers, live updates across sessions through Phoenix PubSub, and named field renderers, which can be predefined or set per HTML type. On top of that, forms now warn you about unsaved changes, enum arrays become multi-selects on both Ash and Ecto, and the filter bar gained a contains condition.
A good part of this release is also fixes. Several Ash and filter-bar defects came out of using the library on real applications, like a layout where getting lost when the filter bar was submitted, or Ash one-to-many tables rendering no rows.
If you are upgrading, there are a few small changes to make, like re-generating the stylesheet and renaming Aurora.Uix.Gettext to Aurora.Uix.GettextResolver. The “What’s New” guide walks through each one with before/after snippets.
There is still a lot of road ahead for aurora_uix, no question about it, but every release makes it a bit more solid.
