So here you have the small “mark season watched” under the progress bar. It’s more of an overview page though, I recommend the following.
Here you can expand seasons to see and watch episodes, but also just quickly click “mark watched” to set any unwatched episode in that season to watched. I did this with over 3000 episodes after my Trakt import, it went way faster that I expected (Trakt import works pretty well if you have an account there, just some episodes names mismatch and same for specials, so far no shows have failed though).

What have you created with the help of AI
I made a test data factory application called FactoryMan. It is heavily inspired by ExMachina (I cribbed lots of functionality from ExMachina, e.g. its Sequence logic), but mine has a few quality-of-life improvements:
- Customizable pre/post action hooks. (I customize mine so that factory-inserted structs match the ones produced by
Repo.get/3, i.e. no loaded assocs) - Generated functions are visible in the LSP, so this package is more autocomplete-friendly.
- ExMachina choked on some of the more complicated factories I was building. (This was probably a skill issue on my part, but still gave me another excuse to try building an alternative.)
I initially made this because I wanted to learn more about how macros worked. This went pretty well until I started trying out Claude Code earlier this year, when it became more of an experiment in learning how to use agents effectively.
It should have all the features offered by ExMachina, and then some.
and what did it cost you?
My sense of pride as an artisan of the craft of programming software.
I also used some of my Claude Pro and ChatGPT Plus subscription quotas while working on this project. Net cost to me was $0 since I don’t use all of my quota most of the time anyways.
