A seasoned SAP architect turned Elixir evangelist and the founder of BIPortal GmbH. With expertise in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA data warehouse architectures, he began his analytics career in 1997 at MicroStrategy and co-developed the pioneering SAP RapidMarts solution in 1999 at Acta Technology, Silicon Valley. From 2002 to 2005, with SAP, he worked extensively as a consultant and trainer across Germany and the UK. Outside work, Thorsten is passionate about classic AI literature, particularly the symbolic computation concepts from the 70s and 80s, integrating these ideas with modern machine learning techniques. He studied computer science at SUNY and information systems at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany.
