I have 15+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and Problem Solver, with 10 years focused on software development (Elixir, PHP) and 5 years as a Developer Advocate for Mobile API Security, where I worked with almost all other programming languages.

If I had to describe myself in one sentence, I would say that I am driven and fueled by my passion for software development, problem-solving, overcoming technical challenges, teamwork, collaboration, and mentoring.

I am a self-taught developer with a passion for Elixir and problem solving with a mindset of continuous learning. I advocate for Clean Code, Clean Software Architecture, API Design-First with OpenAPI specs (Swagger), Unit Testing (TDD), and adopting a security-by-default posture. I have an interest in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, and Distributed Systems. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is also on my list of interests to explore this year with a proof of concept.

As a Software Engineer, I am proficient in Elixir, PHP, Bash, and Docker. I enjoy making an impact on system architecture design to enhance security, resilience, performance, and developer productivity.

As an Elixir Software Engineer, I have successfully delivered projects on time, even with tight deadlines, impacting thousands of employers and employees across 70+ countries.

As a PHP Software Engineer, I was the main developer of a Real-time Analytics platform where I reduced the processing time from being 2 hours behind to under 5 minutes, using only PHP, MySQL, and ElasticSearch. As a PHP freelancer, I revamped two top 10 e-commerce websites in their respective countries, which resulted in an increase in sales and customers.

As a Developer Advocate, I used many programming languages (Python, NodeJS, GoLang, Ruby, etc.) to craft demos and quickstarts, enabling devs to easily adopt and integrate the product into their stack. I have written comprehensive technical blog posts to educate developers on the problems and various approaches to solving them, including the solution I am advocating for. I have conducted research to create PoCs, white papers and reports. I was also featured by DZone in their annual guide for Mobile App Development.

I am open to work with languages such as Elixir, PHP, Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Rust and GoLang, but I am not limited to these. I am interested in exploring roles where I will be solving problems through Distributed Systems that may use an Event Driven Architecture or Micro-Services Architecture. I am also keen on exploring AI roles.
