I’m Dinesh, a backend developer specializing in building scalable API applications with Elixir and Phoenix. Since December 2023, I’ve immersed myself in Elixir, and what started as an unfamiliar challenge quickly became a passion. I love how the language promotes simplicity and efficiency, which has significantly enhanced my developer experience.

Currently, I work at MakerStudio, where I contribute to building robust backend systems. My background also includes Python and Javascript. While I appreciate Python’s versatility, Elixir has become my preferred tool for backend development.

Outside of work, I enjoy solving coding challenges, where I’ve been growing my skills in both Python and Elixir. I’m also passionate about contributing to open-source when I can find some time.

I’m always looking for ways to optimize and refine my code, whether it’s through refactoring, testing or embracing new patterns. In my role, I emphasize writing clean, maintainable code and value the importance of strong test coverage, especially when working with Elixir’s Phoenix framework.

When I’m not coding, you can probably find me brainstorming new ways to improve our developer processes or planning my next coding adventure.
