Trained as a geophysicist, got into software fairly on in my career. Founded a software business, sold a software business, worked for large enterprise software business (mostly product management). Now I mostly advise tech business selling to the resource sector - advising on tech strategy, team strategy, business strategy - and code a little when needed.
