I’m fairly new to Elixir and I’m looking into using Bodyguard as an ACL/authorization library. Could someone share a few hints, pros and cons, or general experiences with it? Also — if you know any good alternatives to Bodyguard for authorization in Elixir, I’d love to hear about them too.
Thanks!
Haven’t used Bodyguard. One option to consider is let_me which may be less opinionated and more flexible in terms of how and where you want to enforce authorization. I’ve enjoyed using it.

Bodyguard is pretty good for policy based RBAC. You can also look into Casbin - GitHub - casbin/casbin-ex: An authorization library that supports access control models like ACL, RBAC, ABAC in Elixir . It supports various kinds of authorization including ACL in Eixir
