Alex Marandon, Python & Elixir Developer, France

Hi,

I’m Alex, senior software developer, architect, tech lead and trainer based in Toulouse, France.

I have over 20 years of experience with Python and four years of experience with Elixir as a lead platform architect for a data science PaaS. Over the years, I also had the opportunity to work with Perl, Java, Ruby and JavaScript. While my primary focus has been web application backend development and data processing pipelines, I also have production experience with frontend development. As a proponent of the DevOps approach, I can also work on CI/CD, cloud resources provisioning, deployment and monitoring.

As a tech lead, I can communicate technical subjects to stakeholders in a way that makes sense to them. Conversely, I can translate business requirements into concise but thorough requirements (i.e. issues), empowering developers to quickly add value to your project.

I am currently available for freelance work.

Please email me at contact@alexmarandon.com for more info.
