Anyone interested in Lightning Network?

Hi.

I’ve been playing for quite a while with Lightning Network now and can’t get more excited about it. The effect of being able to exchange value with people in absolutely different jurisdictions is mind-blowing.

I even got inspired to write about how to get started with it - How to connect to Lightning Network with Elixir — Yevhenii Kurtov's blog

Although Rust is the leading contender in that crypto department I still believe that Elixir/Phoenix has a chance to give a good run for a buck.

So if you’re interested in building on top of LN and looking at where to get started, I’ll be happy to help.

Hi @lessless I would love to contribute.

Blog post is not available anymore. Did you get anywhere further with this?

Sorry for that. A circus called Oracle “lost” my VPS w/o any backups.
It’s pretty much an amateur operation. I learned not to trust “the cloud” and to keep my backups.

On the topic - yeah. I built a pool betting PoC and parked it because I didn’t have the resources to take it off the ground.

If I were doing anything related to crypto today, I’d go with Monero.
