So Warren Buffet just invested half a billion into Nubank, which I believe owns platformatec.

Also, not sure, but AFAIK Nubank does not even use Elixir that much (their main services are written in Clojure) and they also don’t invest on any developer for the core team. But hey, that can change, half a billions is enough for paying some OSS devs for quite a while ![]()

Well they kind of “acquihired” Plataformatec. And mostly to get the consultants and developers they had, but Elixir (and José Valim himself) did spin off and Plataformatec has now nothing to do with Elixir anymore, as far as I know.
