Console code page (437) differs from Windows code page (1252) 8-bit characters might not work correctly. See psql reference page “Notes for Windows users” for details.
I am just share what i am facing at this moment when using Postgresql 16.1 in Windows, after installing then use psql command prompt something weird showing the message above, if you get the same error message like that, just take this step
