Copilot for coding in Elixir / Phoenix?

Any experiences with Copilot in VS Code ?

Thank you.

I’ve been using Cursor with Claude for the past two months and I’m more than happy with it.

I have been using Copilot for 2 days,
I have been using Cursor with Claude for half a day.

In Arabic I can say, metaphorically (translated):

Cursor (with Claude) puts Copilot in its (Cursor’s) pocket i.e. surpasses it greatly  Thanks for the valuable suggestion.

I’ve been using Copilot with VSCode and Neovim for a while and it’s okay for Elixir. Similar to @almirsarajcic I switched to Cursor and the experience was vastly superior.

Need to make some time to try out Copilot now that Claude selected as a model.

FYI you can use Claude 3.5 Sonnet in VS Code, and with the recent updated Github Copilot Chat it has become a far better experience. I switched back from Cursor to VS Code after the release. Also Claude 3.5 Sonnet does a much better job with Elixir and LiveView then other models.

Why switched back? Shortcomings of Cursor? Are there any?
