Today i did a little research to find what can i study next and what the market expect of an Elixir developer nowadays. First, i got a lot of jobs descriptions in Linkedin (i didn’t count how many, but more than 40) and put in http://www.writewords.org.uk/, after, i filter by technology / frameworks / languages.
Thats the result:
108 elixir
(41) 38 react + 3 reactjs
(39) 21 postgresql + 18 postgres
(35) 30 aws + 5 amazon
32 phoenix
31 ruby
28 javascript
25 erlang
22 python
(20) 10 restful + 10 rest
19 docker
18 kubernetes
17 graphql
16 rails
(14) 10 nodejs + 4 node
14 css
13 html
11 redis
9 linux
8 rabbitmq
6 vue
6 terraform
6 redux
6 mysql
6 java
6 kafka
6 go
5 typescript
5 angular
4 sass
4 rust
2 tailwind
I thought was nice to share this here!

Interesting list! I’m a little surprised that there’s more mentions of React than Phoenix. But I’m guessing those are from companies that are interested in Elixir but are not using it primarily.
