See you all there! – I’m staying at the dolphin hotel planning on unit-testing the waterslide…

ElixirConf week, what are you most looking forward too? (if going)

Personally, I’m just ready for a deep dive into the ecosystem and community in general.

What I’m most sad about is the missed opportunity to name a talk “You down with OTP? No, it’s fault tolerant.”

Here’s the Twitter feed for anyone interested:

Looking forward to seeing the videos :023:

I’m looking forward to see them as well! Is there any site/feed/tweet/facebook/channel to follow?

There were a lot of very good talks. The closing keynote for Elixir next 10 years was awesome. Dialyzer talk was also excellent just for a better understanding of how it works. Explained how they leverage the lack of operator overloading to automatically identify types, so for example you know that if you see a variable next to a plus sign it’s definitely a number, which makes it possible to autoclassify the type for compilation warnings where conflicting types are spotted.

Discovered this Github repo this morning where slides and info from the conference are being aggregated by the community as they come up.

Also just submitted to it Hacker News in case y’all want to get it some traction.

EDIT: And it’s front page now.
