Erlang Solutions repo issues for Ubuntu focal due to apt-key deprecation?

It looks like Ubuntu is now showing warnings about apt-key being deprecated. I keep getting BADSIG errors whenever I try to update on Ubuntu focal

The downloads page instructions may just not be updated for the more recent release?

Warning: apt-key is deprecated. Manage keyring files in trusted.gpg.d instead (see apt-key(8)).
OK

I’ve tried converting the erlang_solutions.asc to a .gpg to be used with the signed-by syntax for the repo but no matter what I do it’s giving me a BADSIG error on focal.

deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/erlang_solutions.gpg] https://packages.erlang-solutions.com/ubuntu focal contrib

Any ideas?

Erlang Solutions is aware and I think they’re working on it:

For anyone that stumbles across this thread in the future, Erlang Solutions had it sorted out the next day

The docs on the website are still referencing the apt-key approach for the repo, but downloading the deb directly is fine.
