Linum Labs is a software development studio with a focus on blockchain and web3 technology, founded in early 2016. We strive to be at the forefront of Web3 thought leadership and production in Africa and Europe.
As part of our mission to incentivize the positive growth of blockchain technology and support the open-source philosophy of our industry, Linum promotes ecosystem growth across the globe to make knowledge and skills development resources more readily accessible to everyone.
Our HQ is located in Switzerland, with a further team presence in London, Berlin, Israel, Budapest and Cape Town. We work on the full life cycle of projects, from a client coming in with an idea, planning, developing, testing, audits, refinements, and launching.

Company info and history (how you’re using Elixir etc): Linum Labs is a team of engineers, product managers, designers, and entrepreneurs. We live at the bleeding edge of the blockchain/web3 space. Our clients are innovators and inventors who need custom solutions, often for problems that have never been solved before. Most of our projects involve building smart contracts on blockchains, with front and back end web applications to interact with them.
Our tech stack spans the latest and greatest of web and blockchain tech, including React with Next/Vercel for frontends, Node.js for backends, and Solidity with Hardhat for smart contracts.
You are an experienced Elixir Developer that wants to be involved in the rapidly evolving blockchain world. You want to build solutions that leverage the blockchain ecosystem, along with the best modern web technologies. You want to join a decentralized team and enjoy a fully remote lifestyle.

Job title: Fullstack Elixir Developer
Job description: Build applications that run on or interact with various blockchains
Research new technologies and put them to the test
Answer difficult questions, like “How do we make this technology understandable for the masses?”
Read, write, and review code in a variety of languages and frameworks
Write unit and integration tests
Engage with stakeholders about scope, timelines, and blockers
Communicate with your team via Slack, voice chat, and occasional video calls
Debate implementation details and development best practices

Our tech stack is always evolving. If you have a favorite technology and a strong motivation for why we should use it, then there’s a high chance you’ll get to put it into production. However, for now, here are the main languages we use and seek:

Salary range: 54k - 72k (negotiable)
Position on remote work: 100% remote and flexible
Qualifications or experience required: 2+ year experience in Elixir with frontend experience
What the successful job applicant will be working on: Run Elixir projects and join on larger team projects
