Hacktoberfest is going to be start from the 1st October. It’s a great opportunity to get new people involved in your Open Source Projects and it would be great if you all participate.
I would really like to, and plan on, getting a shirt this year! It was on my list to contribute in some fashion to Elixir open source projects in 2017.
If someone is looking for a project to contribute, Code::Stats has things to do in the Elixir backend, JS (RE:DOM) frontend, SCSS styling, implementing plugins to various editors (Notepad++, Vim, Emacs, Netbeans, Eclipse, Qt Creator, XCode, Visual Studio come to mind…). Just contact me here or on our Gitter for more details.
I hope it’s fine to mention it here like this, please remove if it’s not appropriate.
I am new with Elixir, and I wanted to learn it by applying the practice of Test-Driven Development and Clean Code. So, I decided to create a Twitch Channel about this; about the way we can apply some good practices of the software development to improve the way we write code!
This Staurday - that will be tomorrow - I will be live for all the day long with the aim to partecipate at the Hacktoberfest. It will be a sort of Saturday Special. If you think I could help you on your project, let me know! I hope to see you all tomorrow
