Job description:
- Application Leadership: Take charge of our existing application, ensuring its robustness and scalability. This includes apps developed in ReactNative using TypeScript for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Backend Management: Oversee and advance our backend architecture, primarily using Elixir and the Phoenix Framework, within the AWS ecosystem.
- Feature Development and Integration: Spearhead the development of new features for our cross-platform applications, with a focus on seamless integration with health sensors and data platforms like Apple Health and Google Fit.
- Database Architecture: Design and implement a multifaceted database system to manage and leverage device data, customer information, and marketing insights effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams, including data science, systems engineering, and marketing, to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Technology Innovation and Strategy: Identify and adopt emerging technologies and platforms, aligning them with our product roadmap and strategic goals.
Salary range: 165k-180k
Qualifications or experience required:
- Academic Background:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or relative years of experience.
Professional Experience:

At least 8 years of experience in a lead role within full-stack development.

Technical Expertise:
-Profound knowledge in frontend app development using ReactNative, JavaScript/TypeScript.
-Strong experience in backend development, including proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix Framework.
-Solid understanding of frontend web technologies like HTML, CSS, and React.
-Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, SES, ELB, CloudWatch).
-Competence in database design, data handling, and management.
-Software Development Best Practices: Familiarity with GitHub and contemporary software development
workflows.
-Independent Leadership: Ability to lead projects independently, focusing on results and adhering to
deadlines.
Additional Skills:
- Experience in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device communication.
- Data analytics expertise.
- Python programming skills.
