Phx-change event without a parent form

Hi all,

the phx-change event on individual fields works only if there’s a parent form.
My questions are:

  • Is this intended?
  • Are form controls outside forms valid? I think so but I am not 100% sure

Yes and yes.

The way LV integrates with forms and their inputs requires a form. That doesn’t necessarily mean that inputs outside of forms are generally invalid, which they aren’t.
