I’m working on VSCode ElixirLs syntax highlighting, and different themes support different syntax definitions. So I am curious about which themes are the most popular/widespread.

Took one of the dimmed Monokai themes and modified the color scheme to get closer to the stock ST3 theme I was using. Also customized the syntax file a little and manually overwrite the file when updating the elixir-lsp vscode plugin to avoid random syntax coloring changes upon updating. From time to time cherry picking upstream updates. Regex work is fun! :rofl:

I like to switch around a lot, but I really appreciate themes like Abyss which de-emphasize the structural markers like def and end.

For some reason I can’t stand anything other than One Dark Pro (which comes from Atom).

I keep trying other dark themes but always come back.

I use the material Classic theme. Switch to light version when I’m working outdoors

Dark+ (Elixir), which does a much better job than the default Dark+ for elixir files, and behaves the same as Dark+ for everything else: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=kkalita.dark-plus-elixir

I don’t use VSCode myself but if I did I would probably use the Elixify theme :003:

Not sure how well it works with VSCode as it was a straight port - if it’s ok and there’s a call for it I’m happy for you to extract it and bundle it with (or relate it to) your fork Jason.

I’m on the same boat. Been completely migrated to VSCode, but One Dark theme from Atom always fits me.

For light theme, New England (but obviously I’m biased there).

For dark theme, I like Material Palenight (original, now called “Community” Material theme).
I also like Gruvbox quite a lot. I think this one is the best port.

I am the creator of the New England theme, so I just wanted to disclose that it was a self-plug as opposed to a truly unbiased opinion.
