Raspberry Pi - Pi 500 & Display

Raspberry Pi is on a tear with new products:

Recent ones as well:

  • Revised the Pico with cool new faster and more capable microcontrollers (not for Nerves)
  • Compute Module 5, haven’t received mine yet but I imagine the base Pi5 system should work.
  • M.2 SSD
  • Micro SD cards

For the Pi 400 it was essentially a CM4 and I would hope Pi 500 is the same and that Nerves support is no additional work beyond the Pi 5.

The new display just seems very practical. Not super DIY or embedded-oriented. But practical and useful.
