Senior Backend Developer at ChainAPI - Remote

Senior backend developer at ChainAPI

ChainAPI is the integration platform for Airnode, the API gateway for smart contracts running on blockchains. ChainAPI is a founding member of API3, which builds blockchain-native, decentralized APIs with DAO-governance and quantifiable security. See the whitepaper for more information about API3 and ChainAPI.

We are an internationally distributed team, and the work is remote. Our core hours are 12:00 UTC–16:00 UTC.

About us

My name: Burak Benligiray

My position: Co-founder

Company name: ChainAPI

Website: https://www.chainapi.com/ (yet to be launched)

Company info and history: We previously built the Honeycomb Marketplace, an API marketplace for smart contracts. Both the platform backend and the components that integrated APIs to Ethereum were built using Phoenix+Elixir, and we are extremely pleased with the results. From there, we have moved on to found API3, which raised a high profile seed round and performed a successful public distribution. Recently, API3 has announced the API3 Alliance, which is a group of API providers that will operate Airnodes to provide first-party oracle services. ChainAPI is needed for these API providers (and more) to bring real world data and services to blockchain applications at scale.
