The Elixir GraphQL API drives a mobile application and web app that our clients use.
We are growing rapidly and are looking to expand the team to support this growth.
About the job
Job title: Senior Elixir/GraphQL Developer
Job description: Develop new and maintain existing GraphQL APIs.
Salary range:
Qualifications or experience required: 3 years+ experience with GraphQL and Elixir.
What the successful job applicant will be working on:
- Work independently or with other engineers to develop user experience-focused web applications, and provide support for existing systems.
- Design and build GraphQL endpoints in Elixir (with Absinthe).
- Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, stakeholders, and clients to understand business goals, analyze requirements, formulate solutions, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of the end product.
- Assist in scoping, estimating, and planning of product features.
- Participate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing.
- Help us grow our own timber by coaching and mentoring junior developers.
- Following an “Infrastructure as Code” philosophy, contribute to our deployment, monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation toolkit.
- Build, maintain and optimize Elixir applications.
- Integrate third party API to securely access transaction and account information on behalf of our patrons.
- Create aggregation and data conversion algorithms.
