Our product team consists of a product owner, 2 designers, a QA specialist and 4 developers. Now we’re looking for the 5th. The first commit in our main application is from May 2016. We’ve been happily using Elixir and Phoenix from the beginning.

Job description:
We’re looking for an experienced developer, who enjoys designing and implementing code in Elixir.
Position on remote work:
Initially, you will work on-site, but over time and contingent on the current work situation, you can take remote days.
Qualifications or experience required:
- You have 5+ years of experience in backend languages as well as common web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JS.
- You have at least 1 year of professional experience with Elixir or Erlang.
- You have experience designing and implementing code in a functional language.
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and helping your coworkers reach their potential.
- You have fun working in a team.
- You speak English fluently (German not required).
What the successful job applicant will be working on:
We’ve got a Phoenix monolith that we spend most of our effort on. Besides that, we have a smaller Vue.js app and some infrastructure tools, mostly also written in Elixir. You would be working on all of those. As we’re a small, agile team, you would be involved in all steps of the development process. From designing the architecture to deploying and monitoring it.
About the interview process
You’ll have a quick phone call with me. After that, we’ll ask you to do a small code challenge, so we have something concrete to talk about in the next, in-person interview.
