Job description: Full-stack Elixir Web Engineer
Salary range: competitive with significant equity grant.
Position on remote work: Open to remote
What we look for:
- 8+ years building financial applications, with experience scaling and architecting systems responsible for moving and accounting for large amounts of money
- Experience running Elixir applications in production and at scale
- Solid understanding of secure programming fundamentals
- Ability to solve ambiguous business problems, knowing that sometimes the best solution does not involve writing code
- Interest in Bitcoin is a big plus
What the successful job applicant will be working on:
- Write high-quality, well-tested code to ship new features and products for our clients
- Build infrastructure and administrative tooling to accelerate our engineering and operations capabilities
- Work closely with management to define the technical roadmap for River’s software systems
- Review code from other team members and mentor junior engineers
- Identify and implement high-impact improvements to our software systems
