Job description: Help build our real-time collaboration engine, using Elixir and the OTP platform. An opportunity to scale a platform to millions of users.
Salary range: Benchmarked at 75th percentile of early stage companies
You might be a good fit if:

You are product driven and believe in doing the right thing by the user first
You know how to secure a web application, how to make it fast, and how different services interact
You have experience building a real-time collaborative platform
You’re experienced at creating content across multiple channels, and are incredibly organized

What the successful job applicant will be working on: Improving our Elixir backend that serves maps to our users

Position on remote work

Remote job: yes (although we do have an office in Oakland that you’re welcome to work out of, but the majority of employees are fully remote)
Remote restrictions: USA
Remote leeway: USA and Spain only right now

About the interview process

Intro call (30 mins)
Take home assignment
Either an “on-site” interview (~4 hours over Zoom) or a paid 2-4 week contract where we can get a feel for what it is like to work with each other
