Hi, my team at Total Sand Solution (TSS) are looking for a software developer intern to join our team. Our tech stack is Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, Postgres, Github, Kubernetes and Terraform deployed on AWS. We have a small team (~10 devs) so you’ll get to work closely with a lot of experienced engineers working in different verticals (Elixir web app, mobile development, DevOps, etc.).

Job title: Software Developer Intern
Job description: The Software Development Intern will work closely with senior developers and other team members in designing, developing, and maintaining software in a modern, agile development environment. In this role, the intern will gain hands-on experience using Elixir, Phoenix, and Liveview in production web development for a real-world application.
Salary range: Competitive
Qualifications or experience required: Currently seeking a 4 year undergraduate in a field related to software engineering or a recent graduate. If you have experience working with Elixir that’s a plus, but not necessary.

Any other notes about your position on remote work: Ideally we’d like an intern in the Nashville, TN area (so you get the chance to meet with me from time to time) but we’re willing to consider applicants outside of the area. As part of the internship you’ll have the opportunity to fly to Fort Worth, TX to join the team for a week)
About the interview process
- HR screen: quick ~15 min call with our in house recruiter to learn more about you and your background
- Developer Interview: ~45 min interview with myself and some other developers from the team to dig a bit more into your background, work on a quick design problem together and your opportunity to learn more about us.
