WyeWorks is a boutique consulting firm founded by Santiago Pastorino (Rails Core Team member) back in 2008. We specialize in Web development through our expertise in Ruby, Elixir, Javascript, Agile, and leadership coaching. For more than 12 years we’ve been developing software for successful startups in Silicon Valley and New York while contributing to many Open Source projects along the way.
Our goal is to help companies change the way they build software. We focus on delivering quality code, but more importantly, we want to build the right thing. That’s why we put much effort into setting a collaborative process to establish priorities and help set the vision together. This way, we build trustworthy and long relationships with our clients. We expand their team capabilities through a process that starts aiming for a fast ramp-up time through adaptation and flexibility of our practices, but over time ends contributing to what we think will improve the development culture of their company.
Our clients love us for our ability to make substantial impact from day one, our expert engineering capabilities both in terms of coding and processes, and our desire to go the extra mile to ensure solutions meet end customer’s expectations. But maybe above all, we’re often praised by the little amount of effort having our engineers on their teams has. Thanks to deep and meaningful conversations we work hard to understand our clients’ mission and roadmap, requiring no micromanagement in order to get there thus allowing them to focus on other important aspects of their business.
Our love for learning and challenging ourselves motivates us to contribute to Open Source projects, but it is our passion to connect with a whole diversity of people what keeps us eager to support events and communities all over the world. We contribute to projects and technology we love but also where communities have high standards for professionalism and inclusion. We sponsor and participate in events, and help build communities around our passions.
