VSCode + ElixirLS not starting

Latest VSCode + ElixirLS. Remote dev VM.
asdf install of: Elixir 1.14.5-otp-25, Erlang 25.1. (tried different versions).

After stariting VSCode clicking first .ex file gets:

Activating extension JakeBecker.elixir-ls failed due to an error:
TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined
