Haven’t seen any discussion of these monthly Phoenix updates so I figured I’d start a thread.

Main topics:

  • HTTP2 Support
  • Faster development compilation
  • New Projects use Elixir’s new 1.5+ child_spec
  • Explicit Router helper aliases
  • New default JSON encoder with Jason library

I’m especially excited for the Explicit Router helper aliases because I highly value explicitness. Although I’m definitely excited for the new Jason library as well :innocent:
