Where are Elixir jobs typically posted these days?

I’ve been trying to get a clearer picture of where Elixir jobs actually show up these days, since it often feels pretty fragmented.

From what I’ve seen so far, postings tend to appear in a few places:

  • Elixir Forum hiring threads

  • r/elixir monthly “who’s hiring” posts

  • Company career pages (obviously)

  • Slack and Discord elixir channels

  • General job boards like LinkedIn or Google Jobs (with careful filtering)

  • Elixir-specific sites like Elixir Jobs and Elixir Radar, as well as a few small aggregators

This is just an initial snapshot, so I’m sure I’m missing things. Are there other places you regularly check or have had success with when looking for Elixir roles?

I wrote up a short summary of this elsewhere, but I’m mostly interested in hearing what the community here relies on.

You may want to state what countries are covered in each location or are you just assuming everyone here is american? As for Canada, there are no Elixir jobs, so they are not posted anywhere. And the 1 or 2 jobs that might appear each year might be posted here if they are not taken immediately through recommendations.

Fair point — I should have been clearer about location coverage.

I’m not assuming a US-only audience. Most of the sources listed are a mix of remote (often US/EU-time-zone aligned) and region-specific roles, depending on the company. Canada in particular has very few Elixir roles, and those that do appear are often filled via referrals rather than public job boards.
