Workaround: Default configuration Req dependant HTTP requests not working in Escript executables
Attempting default configuration HTTP requests with Req dependent Escript executables (executables built using mix escript.build) yields:

Delineation and Workaround
Library Version
I could not find any precise and explicit solution/workaround to this issue for Req, so I published one as an issue on Req in git, however it still has low visibility when I search.
I’m hoping that posting a reference to it here will aid others.
I could not find a “Workarounds” category on the forum, so I posted it here.
Not suggesting the forum becomes an Issues repository for Elixir libraries, but resolving this took a couple of days, and I imagine others still learning would have a lot of trouble with it.
